Headquartered in the United States, Umuada Igbo Club International (UUICI) is a leading global organization of professionals empowering Igbo women worldwide through advocacy to preserve our rich cultural heritage and curb gender-based violence. We promote peace, respect, global inclusion. UUICI is a non-governmental organization (NGO) that focuses on empowering Igbo women around the world. Our community is committed to supporting Igbo women in various aspects of their lives, such as education, healthcare, and economic opportunities. Through its initiatives and programs, the NGO aims to enhance the lives of women, enabling them to lead fulfilling and empowered lives.

Reflecting on our transformative ‘2014 UMUADA IGBONY EVENT’: A milestone that united us, celebrated culture, empowered women, and set the course for our impactful journey of growth, advocacy, and global connections.
In 2016, the UMUADA EVENT marked a pivotal moment for us. United by purpose, we celebrated our heritage, forged connections, and ignited empowerment. Through vibrant cultural displays, impactful discussions, and shared aspirations, we laid the foundation for a legacy of unity, progress, and upliftment.
In our memorable May 2019 event, UUICI united hearts and cultures. Through enlightening workshops, captivating performances, and meaningful connections, we celebrated our heritage while empowering the future. Together, we reaffirmed our commitment to uplift Igbo women worldwide.
In 2017, UMUADA EVENT united us in celebrating Igbo heritage. Vibrant performances, cultural showcases, and empowerment sessions marked our journey. Together, we honored tradition, forged connections, and paved the path for a brighter future, echoing through the years.
In 2018, we embarked on a transformative journey – the ‘Medical Mission in Nigeria.’ Dedicated to enhancing healthcare access, we brought medical expertise and aid to underserved communities, leaving a lasting impact on lives while upholding our commitment to service, compassion, and global unity.
March 29, 2020 – A transformative day when our global community gathered for the ‘2020 EVENT.’ Through empowering workshops, cultural showcases, and impactful discussions, we united in our commitment to uplift Igbo women, celebrate heritage, and inspire positive change across borders.
TO CREATE A FORUM THAT WILL GIVE IGBO DAUGHTERS INTERNATIONAL THE OPPORTUNITY TO GET TO KNOW EACH OTHER, THEREBY CREATING COMMON GROUNDS FOR LOVE, TRUST, PEACE, UNITY AND UNDERSTANDING
TO MOBILIZE THE RESOURCES WITHIN AND AROUND OUR PEOPLE. TO PROVIDE SOCIOECONOMIC, EMOTIONAL, AND SPIRITUAL HELP TO EACH BOTH ABROAD IN NIGERIA.
TO HELP OUR FAMILIES AND IGBO LAND APPRECIATE AND PROMOTE MORE AWARENESS AND BE ABLE TO SHARE WITH OTHERS OUR RICH CULTURAL HERITAGE. By creating awareness, we will provide a platform for Igbo daughters/ women/girls of Igbo land to improve their standard of living, create businesses, and pass on Igbo traditions.
TO PROVIDE AN AVENUE FOR OUR CHILDREN TO UNITE, LEARN, EXCHANGE VALUES AND BELIEFS.
TO IMPROVE AND MAINTAIN OUR ORGANIZATION WITH A VIEW OF HAVING A LEGACY FROM WHICH OUR CHILDREN WILL BE ABLE TO BENEFIT AND APPRECIATE.
