In 2023, we held the Umuada Orange Day in the UK. We wanted to talk about something important: domestic abuse. We wore orange to show support for those affected. It’s crucial to help and protect everyone, and that’s what we’re all about.
In the year 2023, we organized a significant event called the Umuada Orange Day in the United Kingdom. The purpose behind this event was to raise awareness about a critical issue: domestic abuse. Our intention was to shed light on a topic that affects many lives and to stand in solidarity with those who have experienced its impact.
On this special day, people from various backgrounds and walks of life came together, wearing the color orange as a symbol of support. The color orange represents strength, resilience, and a commitment to creating a safer environment for everyone. Through this event, we wanted to send a strong message that domestic abuse has no place in our society and that we are dedicated to addressing and preventing it.
